Allen & Heath have included their world renowned analogue VCF (Voltage Control Filter) system on the Xone 23. This system will give you superb high and low pass filters that have sweep control from mild to wild and resonance control. There is a great FX loop feature on this unit which will enable you to connect third party FX units that will route back through the VCF system, adding further control over your mix.
The Xone 23’s channels have all got independent level controls for every input, giving you the ability to connect up to four stereo sources which can all be simultaneously routed to your mix. There is also a dedicated send and return connection on the back of the mixer for external FX units.
The microphone input and master outputs on Allen and Heath’s Xone 23 are both professional, balanced XLR connections. There is also a dedicated record output that has RCA connectors. This mixer gives you an incredible amount of control over your mix with its comprehensive monitoring facilities, which includes cue mix control and a booth output with its very own dedicated volume control. You can also monitor the signal level of each input with the nine segment peak hold monitors located in the middle of the unit.
Also, the Xone 23 features backlit controls, light pipe meters, and has a distinctively shaped face plate all in the style of the flagship Xone DB4. The crossfader on this high-end mixer can be upgraded with the latest version of the audio innovate INNOfader to enhance your scratch performance.
