Introducing the Pioneer DDJ-SR2 Serato DJ Controller, the 2nd generation Serato ready controller that has been upgraded with dedicated controls to get creative and hands on with the latest outstanding Serato DJ features.
DDJ-SR2 Video Intro |
The biggest addition to the DDJ-SR2 is the new Pitch 'n' Time DJ expansion pack, with key sync, shift, tempo and pitch play controls. This will not only maximise your creativity but it also makes it ideal for those who want to mix a diverse range of genres and tempos, and not have to worry about any extreme changes to harmonic content. Additionally, the SR2 is Serato DVS enabled (upgrade license sold separately) which makes this one of the most easily portable DVS-ready controllers to utilise harmonic mixing control.
The SR2 is manufactured to be lightweight, 18% lighter than the previous model to be exact, as well as durable and robust. The top panel and jog wheels feature an aluminium finish so has advanced protection against scratches and surface damage. In addition to this, you will receive a free copy of Serato DJ and Serato Pitch'n'Time Expansion pack with a combined RRP of over £130.
The controller comes with multicoloured performance pads that you can use to trigger hot cues, sampler and roll effects. Jump instantly to a particular part of the track thanks to the needle search pad. You can also choose your preferred choice of how to power the DJ controller, either mains powered or USB powered.
Pioneer’s DDJ-SR2 controller also features professional XLR outputs so that you can connect to a variety of equipment including PA systems. If you do connect to a PA system this controller has a dedicated booth output control knob, so you can take this professionally on the road and use within virtually any club setup. Also, the SR2 comes with a secondary master RCA output thus making this even more flexible for club use. Control the EQ, trim and channel faders of external media players and turntables thanks to the dual line and phono input functionality.
