The Dr. Suzuki Mix Edition slipmats have been specially designed for routine and mix DJs in need of more control over the vinyl and find the Scratch slipmats way too slick.
In comparison to the Scratch slipmats, the Mix Edition mats are noticeably thicker and are designed to withstand agitation and resist shock. The sturdy anti-static slipmats can also help minimise noise made from controlling the record, giving you smoother mixes and performances. The Mix Edition slipmats are slightly smaller in diameter which helps prevent the vinyl from sticking to the slipmat when changing records. Although scratching is still possible with the Mix Edition mats, you may find that using additional slip sheets underneath the mat provides a looser feel. The Mix Edition slipmats are ideal for any style of DJing and can also be used alongside digital control vinyl.
