M-Audio's Hammer 88 comes with a unity locking pitch and free moving mod wheel that gives you the power to add stunning glissando and portamento effects. Why not assign MIDI the mod-wheel to a control in your instrument or plugin that will provide even greater sonic shaping possibilities. In addition, you also receive 3 inputs for various sustain, expression, and soft pedals.

This accurate performance-focused functionality is not limited to software instruments, thanks to the MIDI output feature. Connect and send MIDI messages to sound modules, hardware instruments, and drum machines. Live performers can use this as an excellent means to control a variety of instruments.

The Hammer 88 also comes with free virtual instruments including a grand piano, as well as a copy of Ableton Live Lite so you have software to arrange and mix your compositions in to.
