The Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S-88 is an advanced, full-sized 88-key MIDI keyboard controller which places music production directly into your hands and features an intuitive layout that gives you an extremely fluid music-making experience. This complete keyboard allows you to perform expressively and is perfect for any music producer or live performer thanks to the wide range of professional functions and features that only work to assist your performances.
The Komplete Kontrol S-88 allows you to perform expressively so you can quickly sketch out your ideas and then navigate your way around your project with smooth controls that also allow you to mix your tracks directly from the keyboard itself, so you do not need a mixer or MIDI controller to set instrument levels and access plug-ins. The keyboard comes with a professional-grade Fatar keybed with 88 fully-weighted hammer-action key that is equipped with aftertouch so the keyboard will capture all of your subtle nuances.
The keybed is equipped with a light guide that features RGB lights that sit above each key on the keyboard and work to highlight allows you to highlight drum cells, key switches, chords, scales, and key splits. Smart play provides you with 100+ musical scales and keys to choose from and will display them on the light guide so you’ll never hit a wrong note. It also works to allow you to play chord progressions and arpeggios using a single key or you can map a scale/key to all the white notes.
Ergonomic pitch and modulation wheels which enable you to generate interesting pitch bends and control the timbres of your instruments or add automation while your play as well as a touch strip which has been inherited from the Maschine MK3 and gives you excellent control over your performances so you can add a range of performance effects. All controls and function on the keyboard have been pre-mapped to Komplete instruments, effects, and Native Kontrol Standard plug-ins which offers the most fluid workflow possible so you can quickly design your sounds however you please.
Two high-resolution full-colour screens work to give you the ability to browse and tweak your VSTs, plug-ins, effects, and samples as well as mix your tracks using the eight rotary encoders. The tag-based preset browsing means you can rapidly find sounds and hear instant previews so you can instantly choose a sound that is perfect for your track. A 4-directional push encoder means you can browse through all of your sounds, instruments, effects, and samples with one hand as well as navigate your way through your project.
