The Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX comes with all the key features required to be a club-ready DJ. With 24bit capability, you can be confident of the sound quality. The 6-inch jog wheels are touch-capacitive and come with high-resolution screens for you to see important information such as BPM, key, pitch-adjustment, time-remaining, and platter position. Great for environments with low lighting levels.

The Platinum FX comes with two paddle triggers for superior control over Serato DJ's software effects. The controller even features buttons for quick access to important features like; Reverb, Phaser, Flanger, High pass filter, echo, and low pass filter. This will enable you to create energetic and creative transitions and blends.

The Platinum FX controller also features 16 backlit performance pads. These pads are multi-functional so can be used to control a variety of pad modes on each deck. These include; auto loop, sample, hot cues, and fader cuts. The auto loop function is a great, easy-to-use, effect that makes mixing an even more creative affair. Select your favourite sections of tracks to create live mashups and decrease or increase the loop segment with the easy loop multiplier.

The layered channel functionality allows you access to four decks within your Serato DJ software. You could use an additional channel or two to play just samples and loops and create mashups and remixes on the fly. The deck select button gives you quick access to this. As you get Serato Lite, this also allows you to stream music direct from Tidal and Soundcloud platforms. You need to have a WIFI connection in order to use this feature.

In order for you to adjust quickly to the Numark Platinum FX DJ Controller, all of the key functionality has been mapped to Serato DJ Lite software for both PC and Mac platforms. For the beginner DJ's, Serato DJ lite now comes with an easy-to-follow tutorial so you can get up and running with the basics immediately. The Mixtrack Platinum is also designed to be upgrade-ready for the full version of Serato. This is great for the more advanced user.

In terms of the build of the controller, the Mixtrack PlatinumFX comes packed for instant DJ performance. The channel strips on the mixer section come with traditional 3-band EQ, cross-fader, and channel faders. The filter has been placed directly below the EQ section for a faster workflow as well as matching other professional-grade controllers and club-standard mixers.

On the I/O side of things the unit comes with a mic input, is great for DJ and MC performances as well as mobile or event DJs. RCA outputs mean you can output direct to speakers or if you wish to connect directly to an in-house mixing desk. The headphone output is essential for quick queuing of tracks. On top of that, a two month free trial of SoundSwitch software is included so you can integrate your DJ software with lighting systems to create easy and professional quality lighting automation.
