The Concorde Club provides the highest possible quality of sound. This is mainly due to the increased output voltage, which ensures the sound is strong and powerful, and the Elliptic type of stylus, which enables detailed sound quality. The Elliptic stylus fits in the groove more snuggly meaning it has more contact with the surface area of the groove, as a result more intricate details are extracted.
The Ortofon Concorde Club MK2 DJ Cartridge is highly recommended for digital use . All details are extracted from vinyl when transferring to a digital storage device, providing reassurance it will be of highest quality.
The cartridge has a tracking force of 3g, frequency range of 20-20,000Hz and an output of 8mV. As the Club DJ requires less gain from the preamps, clearer sound is produced, and there is less chance of feedback when in a live environment.
