The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10-W is a limited-edition 4-channel DJ controller featuring an eye-catching white finish. This advanced controller is engineered for seamless compatibility with both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, making it a versatile choice for DJs looking to enhance their performances. DDJ-FLX10-W features innovative capabilities and effects that allow for dynamic mixing, enabling DJs to effortlessly blend different genres, isolate audio components, and execute intricate scratches with precision.
The DDJ-FLX10-W is equipped with two large jog wheels featuring a customisable jog ring, a pioneering addition from Pioneer DJ. This jog ring displays various segments of the current track and allows for colour customisation. The redesigned on-jog display offers personalisation options for the information shown, with four display modes available:
1. **Deck Info Mode:** Shows key details about the deck and an overall waveform.
2. **Waveform Mode:** Provides an in-depth view of waveforms for two decks simultaneously.
3. **Artwork Mode:** Displays the cover art of the currently playing track.
4. **DJ Logo Mode:** Enables users to showcase their own logo or selected image.
Each deck is also fitted with eight robust, backlit Performance Pads for functions such as Beat Jump, Hot Cues, Pad FX, and Sampler. The MAGVEL FADER has been enhanced from a dual-sensor to a four-sensor system, increasing sensitivity and responsiveness for precise adjustments.
A notable feature of the DDJ-FLX10 is its track separation technology, allowing DJs to upload tracks from their library and break them down into three components: drums, vocals, and other instruments (including bass and synths). This functionality supports creative mashups in real-time directly from the controller. The colour-coded buttons simplify the management of these components, with key features like Active Part, Part ISO for volume control (including muting options), FX Part Select for applying effects, and Part Instant Double for isolating a component and transferring it to another deck.
The DDJ-FLX10-W supports both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro for a plug-and-play experience. DVS support for rekordbox is available through subscription plans and extends to Serato DJ expansions.
Rekordbox users have access to additional functionalities, such as Mix Point Link, which enables seamless transitions between tracks at predetermined mix points, thereby avoiding sound clashes. The controller also includes DMX output for rekordbox Lighting mode, permitting DJs to integrate lighting effects without needing additional DMX hardware; simply connect DMX-compatible lights, and rekordbox takes care of the rest.
Connectivity options are enhanced by a single USB Type-C cable, facilitating direct connections to PCs or Macs. Users also receive automatic notifications for firmware updates. Additionally, a voucher for the Serato Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Pack is included, offering high-quality audio shifting and syncing capabilities.
