The Yamaha AG03 is a compact 3-channel mixing console that comes with a plethora of professional features including high-resolution 24-bit/192Khz 2-track audio recording and playback, +48v phantom power, and ‘D-pre’ studio-quality microphone pre-amps with high-gain and low-noise. The AG03 comes with a surprisingly easy setup process and lets you produce content with high-quality audio for real-time broadcasts over streaming platforms. This mixing desk works by helping to boost your production value considerably and allows you to add background music and sound effects to your podcasts with ease and lets you achieve a level of sound quality that can’t be matched with conventional computer/headset configurations. The Loopback function works by allowing you broadcast all microphones, instruments, and other audio sources as well as background music from your PC, Mac, or iPad.
The console is fitted with ‘D-pre’ studio-quality microphone pre-amps that have been developed by Yamaha for high-end recording consoles and helps you capture the most detailed nuances of your vocals or instrument performances. There is a combo XLR/¼-inch TRS input with +48v phantom power for powering DI boxes and condenser microphones alongside a headset input which gives you the option to use a professional condenser microphone or conventional computer headset. The AG03 features two volume knobs and a 60mm volume fader on the front panel for simple control of your audio content and sound effects while a 1-touch digital signal processor enables you to add clarity and focus to your sound with compression and EQ and, just like an authentic radio broadcast you can add reverb using the 1-touch effect.
The AG03 is supplied with Cubasis LE; a streamlined multi-touch sequencer made especially for iPad which gives you the same look and feel if it’s bigger brother, Cubasis. Cubasis LE is specially designed for quick and easy operation making recording, editing, and mixing an easy process and places touch-intuitive production tools in your hands giving you a whole new world of creative options. The console is also supplied with Cubase AI, a digital audio workstation that is equipped with powerful music production tools so you can make high-quality recordings straight out of the box. A robust metal chassis makes this mixing desk extremely portable and is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use and can be used almost anywhere so you can record to your hearts contempt.
