Yamaha HPH-MT7 are the new studio monitor headphones from the music lovers at Yamaha. The philosophy from the sonic giants has always remained the same, and these amazing priced headphones are no different. High-end materials have been used on this product to ensure that the end user receives an optimum sound. The HPH-MT7 has a robust design and incorporates a few vital features such as a sweat-resistant headband, solid ABS housing and die-cast aluminium support arms.

Arguably one of the most important features is the broad frequency response, and these headphones work between the frequencies of 15 Hz-25 kHz. With the inclusion of the lightweight and powerful drivers this is sure to be a sound investment from producers all over the world. Synthetic leather has been used for the large ear pads and low-resistance cushions to ensure the reduction of vibrations. It is not only sound that has been taken into consideration but the ear pads provide stress-free wearability over extended periods of time, and the inspiring adjustable slider length allows the earpads to fit onto the user's head with no problems.

Some other plus points we liked was that the studio monitors can be used for single-ear monitoring, and they come with a straight and a lightweight 3-metre coiled cable. Not only that but they can be fitted with a small jack or 6.3 mm stereo which is perfect if you want to use them for professional audio gear or even portable audio players.

To be in the class of industry standard is no easy task and this takes a lot of individuality and practical philosophy. A good indication that Yamaha produces high-quality equipment is the fact you can see many of the Yamaha NS-10M studio monitors in professional studios all over the globe, anyone that has had experience with this brand will know that sonic accuracy is of massive importance. The high sound produced is a huge benefit to sound professionals, as it allows the producers to concentrate on their signature sound.
