Yamaha HS7 Active Studio Monitor: The remarkable Yamaha HS series eradicate any unnecessary resonance that can influence sound, and have exceptional precision when it comes to sound reproduction. Each speaker is constructed from a dense MDF material to provide superior acoustic clarity and response.
The Yamaha HS7 Active Studio Monitor features bi-amped full range 2 way speakers rated at 60W and 35W and has been developed by Yamaha to offer an exceptionally flat and accurate frequency response for use in music production and composition as well as the home project studio.
Designed in the same tradition as the legendary NS10M monitor, the Yamaha HS7 speaker features a low resonance bass reflex enclosure which improves the rigidity of the overall speaker, and less cabinet resonance means that the signal remains clear and uncoloured. This is very important in getting an accurate mix which translates across all systems.
The Yamaha HS7 Active Studio Monitor has a great feature called "Room Control", which allows you attenuate the unnatural, exaggerated low-end frequencies that can sadly occur when the speakers are placed next to walls. Another cool feature is the polar opposite "High Trim" mode, which gives you greater control over high frequency response.
The full Yamaha HS Series range is fitted with top quality XLR and 1/4" inputs, and is also capable of accommodating a range of balanced and unbalanced sources that may include mixers, keyboards, audio interfaces, and anything else that feature XLR and TRS jacks.
